About Ignite Recovery Inc.
A Recovery Community Organization
Ignite Recovery Inc. a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 2024 with a commitment to supporting individuals and families impacted by substance use and
mental health challenges. Rooted in lived experience; Ignite is led and staffed by
individuals in long-term recovery who are passionate about providing compassionate,
experienced peer support and walking alongside others on their pathways to healing
and wellness.
At Ignite Recovery, we understand that recovery is more than stopping substance use; it
is a process of healing, rebuilding, rediscovering purpose, and who you were created to
be. We believe recovery happens through connection, belonging, and access to
supportive resources that empower people to grow, heal, and thrive.
Whether someone is taking their first step toward recovery or continuing along their
journey, we are committed to creating a safe and welcoming space where every person
is treated with dignity and respect.
Meet Our Executive Director | Laree Tolbert
Laree Tolbert is the Founder and Executive Director of Ignite Recovery Inc., a faith-forward, peer-led Recovery Community Organization rooted in hope, healing, and
connection. As a woman in long-term recovery, Laree brings both professional expertise and lived experience to the work she leads every day.
For more than 17 years, Laree has lived free from the use of illegal substance. She describes her journey as nothing short of the grace of God. Through faith, attending Celebrate Recovery and 12-step meetings, she experienced a life-changing transformation that renewed her purpose and hope.
Recovery has brought healing and reconciliation within her family, strengthened her marriage, and allowed her children and grandchildren to experience the presence of a
loving, dependable mother and Nana. Together, Laree and her husband have built a life grounded in faith, restoration, and service to others.
With a deep passion for helping individuals and families impacted by substance use and mental health challenges, Laree co-founded Ignite Recovery Inc. with her husband Joe to create a welcoming and supportive community where people can grow, share their stories, learn from one another, and experience genuine connection.
